Why do people always say "happy Friday"? Is it because of the weekend? Well, I think people should consider every day a good and happy day.

Anyway, business has been a little slow in the past few days. I tried to figure out why the sales have come down but I could not find any good reason. Traffic is solid and most best-selling neck ties are in stock and available for purchase. Maybe just a conincidence? I will keep a close eye on it and will keep you posted...

Wow, it looks as if tripod got a slightly new interface. Personally I like it much better. It appears much friendlier to those people that are bloggin on a regular basis.

Business has been quite good in the past few weeks and I em keeping my fingers crossed that it will continue to excel. Right now I am busy getting new designs and adding new ties to our inventory. Then, I will also redo my how to tie a tie site: Tie-Knots.org

Hello readers,

This will be another short note since it is Monday and there is quite a bit of stuf to get done. Also, I am not going to lie, I want to enjoy the nice weather outside here in San Francisco. I think it is safe to say that today is the nicest day of 2010 so far (in terms of weather here in SF). What else? Business is good and I am continuing to expant it. I wnated to express my gratidue to make 2009 such a successful year for me. Business has grown at levels that I never imagined. Thanks again for all the support, business, and suggestions to make the past year so successful and memorable.

Hello Reader,

Even though I am super swamped today and I have a ToDo list that is longer than ever, I decided to give my readers a quick update on my business. Overall business is good, even though I would have expected a stronger spike in sales so close to the holidays. Order size is small bu the quantity of orders makes up for it. Wow, it has been almost 5 months since I worte last! What happened???

Well, I think I have just been to busy lauching my newest website: Bows-N-Ties.com - check it out and tell me what you think. Alright everyone, it is Friday! Time to start planning fun stuff if you haven't already done so. This weekend I got a friend in town and we will probably go out tonight and tomorrow night. Now that I am single again it is time to hit the bar scene. Not to find women - but just to meet people, catch up with friends, and be social...

Business has been booming again which is probably due to fathers day right now. So maybe next week things will slow which is actually quite nice since I will be heading out for a rafting trip for a few days followed by a trip to Germany.

 Alright, here is my tie choice for the day: Solid Green Silk Necktie - yes, I still wear ties although I am my own boss. I just like the way they look and how they can add so much style and personal character to an outfit!

Neckties are a classic clothing item for men that will never go out of style. Becasue of this I thought it would be a great business idea. Actually, to be honest, it wasn't me but my father that came up with it. He is a smart man and I 100% trust his judgement for any business related question and challenge. He just has a hand for running a successful company. I think I got some of these genes too, or at least I hope I do. =)

About a year and a half ago me and friend decided to start investing in real estate and we decided to go in on a 2 unit building in San Francisco with the intention of condo converting it. Well, who would have known that the real estate just started to tip over back then. In hindsight probably not the smartest investment but I am still confident that in the long run we can make a few bucks.

So I was interested how the real estate market is doing. Not just in general but locally here in the SF region. It seems that San Francisco Condos took the hardest hit while multiunit buildings experience much less of a loss. Regardless both are much better when compared to the nattional average decline in home prices.
